Two fields. The amount, then your student number or invoice. Card details stay on Yoco.

Test mode is on. No payment is sent until a Yoco test payment link or a checkout endpoint is saved in shared/config.js.

Connecting Yoco

Test mode is on in shared/config.js. Paste a Yoco test payment link into YOCO_PAYMENT_LINK_URL, or point YOCO_CHECKOUT_ENDPOINT at your server. The server calls Yoco Checkout at https://payments.yoco.com/api/checkouts with the secret key and returns redirectUrl. YOCO_PUBLIC_KEY and YOCO_SECRET_KEY stay placeholders in this public file. The browser does not send the secret.

A payment link may include {amount}, {amountCents}, and {reference}. The checkout endpoint receives the amount in cents, the reference, this campus, and the return addresses.

Each link opens that provider’s own site. The provider decides who qualifies. Whether EASTC is on a provider’s institution list is to be confirmed. Pay the amount on your invoice. Course fees are published in the EASTC brochure on eastc.co.za.
